Common questions

Answered honestly.

The actual things people ask before booking.

  • Yes. Beginners are trained close to the shore under certified instructors in controlled conditions. Safety equipment and basic first aid support are always available.
  • Not necessarily. Beginner lessons happen in shallow water with instructor support. Being comfortable in water helps, but swimming is not mandatory to start.
  • Most surf schools accept participants from around 8–10 years onwards. There’s no strict upper age limit as long as you’re reasonably fit and comfortable in water.
  • Most beginners are able to stand within the first 1–2 sessions. With 3–5 days of practice, balance and consistency improve significantly.
  • You can learn the basics like paddling and pop-up in 3 days. However, 5–7 days is recommended to start catching waves more independently.
