The actual things people ask before booking.

  • For certification courses (like Open Water), yes. You need to complete a 200m non-stop swim and float for 10 minutes. For beginner try dives (DSD), swimming is not mandatory as you’ll be guided closely by an instructor.
  • Yes. Diving is conducted under certified professionals following strict safety standards. You’re always guided, briefed properly, and supported with well-maintained equipment.
  • Yes, diving is possible during monsoon unless conditions become unsafe (storms, strong currents, etc.). Heavy rain doesn’t affect the underwater experience much, but instructors always take the final call based on safety.
  • Yes. Vision underwater is naturally magnified. If your power is around ±2, you can dive without glasses. For higher power, you can use a prescription (numbered) diving mask.
  • Yes, it’s completely safe. Many divers prefer using menstrual cups or tampons for comfort during dives.
  • You should wait 18–24 hours after your last dive before flying to avoid decompression sickness.
  • It’s normal for beginners to feel anxious initially. Instructors are trained to handle this and will guide you step-by-step to stay calm and comfortable.
