I had never tried scuba diving before, so I was quite skeptical about choosing the right scuba school in Havelock Island. After coming across DiveIndia, I can confidently say it was one of the best decisions I made during my trip.
The atmosphere at the school was relaxed and welcoming, while the entire team was extremely professional, supportive, and cooperative. They use high-quality, well-maintained equipment, which made me feel safe and comfortable throughout the experience.
I was fortunate to have Mrigank as my instructor, and he was absolutely amazing. He made me feel completely at ease, taught me some additional skills, and was incredibly knowledgeable. As an ecologist as well, he shared valuable insights that made the whole experience even more meaningful.
Although the package was priced a little on the premium side, it was absolutely worth every penny for the quality, professionalism, and unforgettable experience they provided.

We had an incredible experience doing multiple fun dives with DiveIndia in Havelock. One thing that stood out immediately is how authentic and disciplined they are regarding scuba safety and regulations. They clearly take no shortcuts, which made us feel incredibly secure throughout our time with them.
Our dive lead, Heedo, was phenomenal. Even though we weren’t doing a formal course, he made sure we learned something new on every dive and helped us tangibly improve our skills. We always felt safe in his hands.
We started with a refresher course led by Vijay, who was an excellent instructor and did a great job brushing up our skills before we hit the open water. The boat crew was also highly experienced, making the right calls based on weather conditions to ensure the best experience.
Beyond the professionalism, the vibe is great!We met several other friendly instructors and staff members who made us feel very welcome (Nidhin, Upasana and others). I completed my Open Water certification with Dive India and absolutely loved it. The staff were friendly, cool, and super helpful, and I got to meet some really interesting people.
The dive sites were incredible. We saw an amazing variety of fish and corals — plus an octopus, a moray eel, and almost a dugong (still counting that as a win!).
Mikey, our instructor Shark 🦈, with over a decade of experience, brought calm confidence and infectious energy to every session. He was motivating, reassuring, fun, passionate, knowledgeable, and highly skilled. His mantra — “Be the shark of the ocean” — stayed with us, along with reminders to always have fun and look good underwater. His calm approach and positive energy made a huge difference, especially for first time divers, helping build confidence dive by dive.

I came to dive India at Havelock with no expectations and a lot of doubts on my swimming skills. 2 weeks later i am open water, advance open water and nitrox certified and just starting my diving journey with full confidence. All, thanks to mikey in boosting my confidence as a diver and special mention to all instructors, Dive masters and trainees here. The vibe and the dive culture at dive india is incredible. Thanks to all conversations i had with experienced diver. Will definitely come back to dive. Journey is not finished but yet to start now.
